An individual could die within 3 to 4 minuets if their airway is blocked, an ambulance can take more than 8 minutes to arrive. Simple procedures such as opening the airway can save a life whilst waiting for emergency help to arrive. First aid saves lives!

About the Course

When your risk assessment identifys the need for an Emergency First Aider in the Workplace, this one-day training meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982.Learners will gain the knowledge and practical competence required to deal with a range of workplace first aid situations. This course is delivered in a fun and interactive way to meet all the learning needs of the attendees. Training with Hart’s trainers are qualified under NUCO and afiliated with FAA (First Aid Awards). The FAA Award in Emergency First Aid at Work qualification is unit 1 of the three-day FAA Award in First Aid at Work qualification.

  7. Know who to provide first aid to a casualty with minor injuries
