Dementia Management and Support

About the Course

This course is designed to work with managers and care staff alike to look at identified issues in dementia care, to reflect on their own experiences of working with individuals living with dementia and how to support people to live well. It includes a module on behaviours that challenge us and evaluates the potential causes by looking at human needs. By the end of the day, this course will support staff to have a greater understanding of behaviour as well as how small positive changes can make a big difference to the individuals they support. This course will have a range of practical activities to engage staff and enhance their learning styles.
