About the Course

The spread of infection within healthcare environments are an ongoing concern; This infection control training is a priority for all clinical and non-clinical healthcare staff. The training will highlight the importance of infection control procedures; and the impact of pathogens when not controlled correctly. Attendees will develop an understanding of how infections can spread, and their legal duty of care as healthcare professionals within infection control procedures, as well as looking at legislation that applies to all staff. This includes Chain of Infection; Standard Precautions; Hand Hygiene; Good Hygiene practices. This course uses a variety of learning tools to provide a fun and great learning environment – from discussions and videos to practical interactive activities that will ensure that the session stays in the minds of the attendees long after the session is over.
